This page presents selected mural, decorative art, and visual environment projects created by Yuliya Alagir for children’s centres, family-support organizations, and community spaces in Calgary. Each organization invited Yuliya to develop artistic solutions that help make their environments more welcoming, imaginative, and engaging for children and the families they serve.  

Selected Children’s Space Projects 

​Radiance Family Society 

An interactive mural project developed for Radiance Family Society in Calgary. Yuliya Alagir was invited to create a warm, colourful, and engaging visual environment for a children’s space. The mural includes interactive elements designed to spark curiosity and imagination in young children.  

Children’s Cottage Projects

New Children’s Cottage building in Montgomery, Calgary, featuring a crisis nursery for ages 0–4. An interactive, story‑driven mural was created for the nursery, together with custom signage for the Ceremony and Elders rooms.

​An interactive, story‑driven mural for the nursery: “Nathan Town” — a fantasy mushroom‑village designed for infants and toddlers, with play elements and age‑appropriate visual details. View the gallery of the finished installation.

Donor Signage & Acknowledgements
​

​Alagir Art Design created handcrafted donor acknowledgement signage and gallery-style nameplates, carefully integrated into the interior to honour supporters with dignity. Each piece was designed and executed to complement the centre’s interior and to recognise donor contributions respectfully.
